ReplyDeleteHow do you know the difference between chocolate/seal and lilac/blue
ReplyDeleteI find it easiest to determine colour as it develops, starting from birth. The newborn fur on seals and blues seems off-white, whereas it is snow white on lilacs and chocolates. As their points darken, it's easy to tell the difference between seal/blue and chocolate/lilac. After that it becomes much more difficult. A seal point looks a lot like a chocolate until about one to two years of age, except a chocolate's mask covers the face more slowly. It's a complicated process. If you need some help determining colour, please email me some photos.
