Hi Emily - Snickers is settling in very well. It was as if he has been with us for weeks already - you can certainly tell that he is used to being around people, particularly little people!
Our 13 year old Siamese Merlin is having a harder time but today he came up from the basement on his own to spend some time and they were smelling and sniffing with less growling - he is actually afraid of Snickers who can put the run on him.
Q - how often did you trim his nails?

I cut my cats' nails when I can feel them through my clothes. Usually every two weeks or so. I cut his nails on Sunday, so you shouldn't have to do it for at least a week.
